Arrival on Sunday 1st of August, start Monday, 2nd. End on Friday 7th. 

Registration Fee:
$30/person OR 100 000 BIF for Burundian
$50 /couple

Students:
Category A: $15/day
Category B: $10/day
Category C: $5/day - 25 000 BIF for Burundian

Visa Application Process:

Some countries in the East African Community and COMESA community are visa-free entry. Kindly always check with your embassy before traveling to Burundi.

Please note that a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required for entry.

Attendees from all other countries are required to apply for a visa. The visa fee is 90 USD (CASH ONLY), and should be paid on arrival.

After completing your application, you will receive a confirmation certificate by email.

Please ensure that you apply within 2–3 weeks prior to your arrival, but no more than 3 weeks.

Visa Application Link

There are rooms with bunk beds, rooms for couples and rooms for families.
Since the base is quite far from town, it is highly encouraged to stay on base.

The base is a safe area, with security guards ensuring the safety of everyone living on base.

Practical Information

Bujumbura International Airport.

The base will be able to provide transport to and from the airport at $30 per trip. 

Required Vaccines or proof of Vaccination: Yellow fever.

Translation will be provided from English to French and Swahili.

Bring your Bedding, Towels, Mosquito Repellent, Light clothing since the weather is warm and humid.
The standard electricity supply operates at 220V, with powerplugs types C/E.

Wifi will be available on base. It is possible to buy sim cards, although the network is not good on base, since the base is far out of town.
