Payment Options:

Payment will happen when you register online. If you are not able to do that, you can pay by card on arrival.

Participants from some non-schengen nations e.g. USA will get a 90 day ‘visa on arrival’ while people from other nations need to obtain a tourist visa by applying to the Norwegian embassy in their respective countries.

YWAM Grimerud can assist with letters of invitation to help the visa process go more smoothly.

The base offer housing in dorms.
Our dorms are from 2-4 person in a room.
We do have some rooms that serve well for families.

Grimerud offers a robust Wi-Fi network, with coverage in every building and several outdoor areas. Please note that prepaid SIM cards are not available to short-term visitors in Norway.

The base provides complimentary transport to and from the train station; it’s included in the fee.

Please bring your own towel and bedding (duvet, pillowcases, and sheet). A complete set can be rented from the base for NOK 125.

Mornings and evenings can be chilly, so pack a sweater and a windbreaker or rain jacket for outdoor walks and possible rain. Early September is generally mild with limited rainfall.

Electricity is 220 V, and standard two-pin plugs—such as those on iPhone chargers—work without adapters.

The base is a former farm, and the houses are spread across the property. We offer an accessible room for guests who use wheelchairs.
