If you’re arriving by plane in Gothenburg, you will land at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT). To reach Gothenburg Central Station from the airport, take a bus heading to ‘Gothenburg Nils Ericsson Terminalen’ (Central Station). Simply follow the signs directing you to the buses outside the airport terminal. Look out for the Flygbussarna bus bound for Göteborg (Gothenburg). This service operates every 15-30 minutes departing from Landvetter (GOT), with a cost of 119 SEK if you pre-purchase a ticket online at www.flygbussarna.se. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes.
Upon arrival at the central station, locate the Västtrafik office within the central bus/train station. Alternatively, you can check online before your arrival in Sweden at http://www.vasttrafik.se/en. When purchasing a ticket for the subsequent bus or train journey to LJUNGSKILE, the staff can provide guidance on waiting and catching the transportation – their assistance is highly reliable. Bus/train tickets from Gothenburg to Ljungskile are priced at 105 SEK.
In Ljungskile, you’ll find bus #822 available. This bus conveniently drops you off in front of the property at the RESTENÄSSKOLAN stop. Should you board this bus within 1.5 hours of the commencement of your bus/train journey, the ticket cost is already included in the initial fare.
If you’re flying into Oslo (OSL) or Copenhagen (CPH), you can take a bus to our nearest stop, known as “Uddevalla Torpterm E6.” This location is just a 15-20 minute drive from Restenäs.
